For almost everything that we do, we rely on the generous support of our community and partners. From extensive community work to our strong academics, from student engagement to public events such as Chanukah in the Square or the Three Rabbi Panel, there's no other place like Jewish Studies in Charleston. It is here that Jews and others from all denominations and backgrounds meet to learn about and experience Judaism, and where the next generation of communal leaders is cultivated. Your support helps sustain our operations now and in the long run, and we are forever grateful for it.

Supporting the College of Charleston Hillel is the best way to ensure a strong, meaningful Jewish experience for our students while they attend the College of Charleston. Your support will enhance student experience with weekly and holiday meals, various Jewish learning initiatives, events and guest speakers, and leadership developments programs. We are happy to announce a new and exciting opportunity to support and help bring more Jewish students to Charleston that does not require setting up an endowed scholarship. Even a modest $18 contribution will go a long way in making a CofC education affordable to more students. The Jewish Studies Endowed Scholarship Fund will not function as a regular scholarship. Rather, it is a growing resource that we will have at our disposal to match or beat scholarships & tuition offers from other universities so more students can afford to come here. There is no set amount this scholarship would pay per student. That would be determined on a case by case basis based on need and funding availability. Anyone can contribute to this fund.
It's easy: Go here to make your donation, and choose "Jewish Studies Endowed Scholarship" from the dropdown menu.
